Our Inaugural Careers Expo
Sirius College’s first multi-campus Careers Expo held on the 27th of July, provided insight for Yr. 10-12 students on the multitude of options that are available to them after they graduate from their secondary studies and in the years afterward. Seminars from various professionals in Health care, Media, Law and Engineering sectors shined a new light as to what their dream occupation could possibly entail. Many students described these lectures as, ‘highly beneficial and informative’ and in a more colloquial term as being ‘lit.’ Alongside these motivational and inspiring talks, various booths ranging from top universities to gap year programs allowed for students to interact, ask vital questions and to start actively shaping their future. Overall, the school’s first event to aid students with their career development and university selections was a huge success. We hope to see more events like this in the near future!
